Shell NEODOL and Shell NEODENE performance chemicals are widely used in cleaning, home care and detergent applications. Both high-purity chemicals have a highly linear chemical chain, with slight branching, which provides superior emulsification and cleansing properties.
Shell NEODOL product grades may enhance formulations for products such as detergents and industrial cleaners due to their superior cleaning capabilities. Shell NEODENE, a line of linear alpha olefins, finds use in various applications, including surfactants and surfactant intermediates.
Biodegradation profile is an important environmental consideration for cleaning products. Several Shell NEODOL products are readily biodegradable, in line with regulations in the EU, US and Canada.
