Shell Aviation offers a detailed offshore procedures manual 鈥� Shell Aviation Offshore Fuelling Procedure Manual (SAOFPM). This provides a comprehensive, world-class offshore operating system covering all the necessary standards (including CAP 437, Danish BL 3-6 standards and HLO/OPITO training requirements) and providing procedures for the safe storage, handling and delivery of fuel into helicopters offshore.
The manual can be used on offshore oil and gas sites, as well as renewable energy facilities and other fixed and offshore vessels with helicopter refuelling facilities. Application of the operating system provides improved safety and facilitates full traceability of fuel from source to helicopter.
