Shell gas-to-liquids (GTL) Performance Fluids and Drilling Fluids are made from a natural gas feedstock. The proprietary production, known as the Shell GTL Process, results in products that are high in purity. We proudly operate Pearl GTL, the world鈥檚 largest GTL plant in the world, capable of producing 140,000 barrels per day of GTL products. Our GTL Fluids are available globally through hubs and distribution.
Performance Fluids
Developed from innovative gas-to-liquids (GTL) technology our line of Performance Fluids are low in aromatic content compared to conventional products. Used for Mining Diluent in Solvent Extraction, Metal Working Fluids, Emulsion/ANFO Explosives, Polyacrylamide (PAM) Production for Water Treatment, Crop Protection, and more.
Drilling Fluids
